The Granary

The Granary – Sleeps 2 – from  £300 to £490 per week

 

We have designed our ‘little’ gite to be comfortable and practical whilst retaining its rustic charm and heritage.

 

The stable door opens into the open-plan kitchen and living area which has been decorated with the theme of ‘wine’ in mind as we are near to some of France’s greatest wine-producing regions!  The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave, kettle, toaster and a comprehensive selection of kitchen utensils. 

The lounge area features two comfortable armchairs, footstool, television and DVD player and a wall-mounted flame-effect electric fire should it turn chilly.

 At the other end of the room there is a small dining table and two chairs (we will provide more chairs should you wish to entertain!) that are near to the window looking onto the back garden. Upstairs you will find the bedroom featuring a bijou Romeo and Juliet balcony, furnished with a kingsize (160cm) bed and period furniture.  There is a ceiling mounted fan for those warmer nights - and a well-appointed shower room with electric towel rail. 

 

Outside, there is a bistro set (table and two chairs), perfect for breakfast ‘al-fresco’!  Guests are also welcome to use the barbecue on the terrace in front of the house and there are sun loungers available which can be used in either the front or back gardens. Free Wifi is available.
