Les Chouettes Terms & Conditions of Booking

 

Booking

By submitting a booking form, either by post or electronically, the renter confirms that they are over 18 years of age, that they are authorised to make the booking on behalf of their party and that they accept all of the Terms and Conditions.  All members of the party should be named on the booking form, including children (and their ages).  The Granary is for a maximum of 2 adults only (no children), The Walnut Tree accommodates 5/6 (children are welcome).

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental due should be made upon booking, confirmation will be sent by email when the deposit has been received.  The balance is payable no later than 8 weeks before the rental start date, a reminder will not be sent. If full payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit forfeit.

Damage Deposit

We request a damage deposit of either 250 euros or £200, by cash or cheque, which will be returned upon departure providing no damage has been caused (this does not include fair wear and tear or petty breakages) and the property is left clean.  Please expect the property to be checked before you leave.

Arrival & Departure

Check in is after 3pm and checkout before 10.30am.  Please let us know your approximate time of arrival.

Access

The proprietor reserves the right to enter the properties to carry out urgent repairs , remedy identified issues, faults or concerns.

Other Stuff

Bed linen, towels  and tea-towels are included.  The towels are for use in the gite only, if you would like towels for use in the garden or to take to the beach, these can be provided for a deposit of  5 euros which will be refunded when they are returned.  For stays longer than 7 nights, clean towels and linen will be exchanged.  There is a washing machine available for guests to use and a washing line in the garden.  Cleaning materials and equipment are provided but not detergent for the washing machine or the dishwasher (in The Walnut Tree).  By law, no smoking is allowed inside the gites, please smoke well away from the property.  We encourage our guests to consider the environment , by recyling  rubbish (we provide receptacles to facilitate this) and by being considerate in the use of power and  water (not leaving lighting and heating on when not in the premises, not using the washing machine unnecessarily  and only using the tumble dryer if laundry cannot be dried outside).  We do not accept pets.
